Ten­ure Track As­sist­ant Pro­fess­or­ships in Strategy and In­nov­a­tion 2027 Apply now Unit Department of Strategy and Innovation Application deadline 15 September 2026 The Department of Strategy and Innovation (SI) at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) invites applications for tenure track assistant professors in the areas of strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship, and international business.

The tentative starting date is September 1, 2027. Copenhagen Business School has the status of an independent university with more than 20,000 students and about 450 full-time faculty (assistant/associate/full professors). CBS is thus one of the largest business schools in Europe, covering a wide range of business-related academic fields. The Department of Strategy and Innovation is one of 11 departments within CBS.

The department employs about 45 faculty members, including 20 professors, 15 associate professors, and 10 assistant professors. Moreover, it has about 15 postdocs and 15 PhD students. The department’s research is generally cross-disciplinary with a strong element of quantitative methods.

Faculty members have published in top academic journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Management Science, Journal of International Business Studies, and Research Policy, among others1 …
