About this position The position calls for creative, interdisciplinary scholars able to bridge empirical and philosophical traditions within the learning sciences. We expect you to have a deep understanding of the underlying cognitive mechanisms, as well as the experiential conditions supporting motivation and engagement. We are looking for a colleague working with topics like universal design, inclusivity, belonging, accessibility, transformative pedagogy, collaborative learning, difficult university classroom conversations or conflicts, student engagement, and motivation in higher education. At CED, an associate professor’s time divides equally between research and teaching. We expect you to contribute to CED´s research environment, while taking an active role in our university teacher training program and the development of innovative pedagogical approaches across AU.
