Your key responsibilities & duties will include: · Blueprint Interpretation: Study engineering drawings, blueprints, and material lists to plan the sequence of tasks and determine material requirements. · Layout and Fabrication: Layout reference points and patterns on heavy metal to prepare for cutting, bending, and forming. · Assembly and Fitting: Assemble, align, and fit metal sections and plates to form complete units or subunits, using tack welding, bolting, or riveting. · Machine Operation: Operate heavy-duty machinery such as cranes, shearers, brake presses, grinders, drills, and cutting torches to prepare components. · Quality Inspection: Inspect and test completed components to ensure they meet specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations1 …
