Employment type: FULLTIME. Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified Global Food Security and Regenerative Agriculture Advisor. If you are passionate about supporting people and communities to address their food security needs in a changing climate; if you have deep knowledge and experience of agroecology, specifically related to food security and livelihood development in fragile contexts; and if you are a strong communicator and confident as a leader and trainer in your technical field, you may be the right person for the job! About the job The overall responsibility of the Food Security – Regenerative Agriculture (FS/RA) Advisor is to lead the Food Security technical area, within the broader Economic Recovery sector portfolio covering the three sub-sectors of Food Security, Financial Inclusion and Decent Livelihoods. DRC considers climate adaptation as an integral component of Food Security in displacement contexts; and thus expects the FS/RA Advisor to also lead our regenerative agricultural design (RAD) agenda, when and where relevant.
