Senior Backend Developer (.NET / C#)

Opportunity summary

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join the 3Shape Cloud Storage team. The team builds, maintains and evolves the services responsible for moving, storing and synchronizing business-critical data across dental clinics, laboratories and cloud environments worldwide. The Cloud Storage service runs locally alongside the dental applications in the clinics and labs, and in the cloud. It supports automatic synchronization of data to where it is needed. The Cloud Storage also stores data in the cloud for the clinics and labs with adequate subscriptions. To give an idea of scale, 3TB of data is ingested daily, with 120 million events processed daily and 1.9 petabytes of data stored globally. We are intentionally prioritizing strong software developers over cloud specialists. If you have deep C#/.NET expertise and solid engineering fundamentals, we can help you learn the Azure-specific and SRE parts of the role. Experience with cloud platforms, Azure, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code or SRE practices is valuable, but a solid software engineering foundation is what matters most.
