Opportunity summary

Employment type: FULLTIME. We are looking for a Head of Design Technology to lead and grow our Design Technology team in Copenhagen. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role: you will set the direction for design technology across the Copenhagen studio while staying deeply involved in the work itself, building tools, deploying applications, and solving real problems on live projects with real deadlines. This is a role for a leader who leads from the front, not a manager removed from the craft. This role is part of BIG's global ambition to deepen our technological skills and become the most advanced AI-enabled architectural organization in the world. The global Design Technology department, led by the Chief Design Technology Officer, is at the core and center of that mission. As the new Head of DT Copenhagen, you will be reporting to the local leadership and the Chief Design Technology Officer[SS1.1], and be the driving force for design technology locally, uniting BIM, computational design, AI, Sustainability, Model Shop and visualization into one coherent practice and making sure new methods actually land in project teams.
