Opportunity summary
You will join our Enterprise Data Management – Data Governance team. The team is responsible for establishing and operationalizing Data Governance across BEC to ensure that data is managed as a trusted, compliant, and valuable asset. Working closely with BEC domains and member banks, we establish the frameworks, processes, and capabilities that enable high-quality, transparent, and well-governed data across the financial ecosystem. The Data Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to shape how data is understood, governed, and managed across one of the largest financial data ecosystems in Denmark. By improving transparency of data assets, data flows, metadata, lineage, and Critical Data Elements, you will help establish the technical foundations that support BEC's transition towards a modern target data architecture. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, while also offering the flexibility to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Emilie Nikoline Andersen.
