Employment type: FULLTIME. Applications are invited for two part-time research assistant positions with SDU Health Informatics and Technology (HIT), The Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute (MMMI), University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Odense. Both positions are for 1 years at 25% (9,25 hours/week). The planned starting date for the positions is October 1, 2026. Tasks Both research assistant positions will focus on development of AI-based decision support. One position will be related to a joint project with Hospital Sønderjylland (Sønderborg) on personalized cardiovascular risk prediction and diagnostic support for patients with advanced kidney disease. The other position will be related to a joint project with Lillebælt Hospital (Vejle) on detection of smoking status and symptoms for lung cancer patients. Ideal candidates To qualify for the positions, you must hold a M.Sc. degree in software engineering, artificial intelligence, computer science, or a related discipline.
