We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the Centre for Star and Planet Formation (StarPlan) at the Globe Institute, University of Copenhagen. The position focuses on the cosmochemistry of carbonaceous chondrites and the evolution of the outer protoplanetary disk, using high-precision isotope systematics to trace mixing and late infall during planet formation. The position is offered for a fixed term of three years and is expected to commence on 1 January 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter. StarPlan is a multidisciplinary research centre dedicated to understanding the formation and evolution of planetary systems, combining cosmochemistry, planetary science, astronomy, astrophysics and geochemistry. The successful candidate will join an international team and make use of the centre’s established clean-laboratory and high-precision mass spectrometry facilities, including analytical protocols for Mg, Si and Fe isotopes developed in-house.
