At the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology, The Faculty of IT and Design, a full time, three year fixed term position as assistant professor is available from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2029.Do you want to help shape the next generation of computer vision and artificial intelligence research in an international, collaborative lab environment? We are looking for an assistant professor who is ready to develop an independent research profile, contribute to high-quality teaching across several programmes, and take an active role in the daily life and long-term development of the Visual Analysis and Perception Lab in Aalborg.Your work tasksAs assistant professor in computer vision and artificial intelligence, you will be part of the Visual Analysis and Perception Lab at the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology in Aalborg. The lab is embedded in the Section for Media Technology and brings together researchers, postdoctoral fellows and PhD students working on visual analysis, perception and intelligent systems in close connection with real-world applications.
