Creativity Support in Generative AIThe position is open for appointment as of October 2026, or soon hereafter. The position is a three-year role, located in the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University's Technical Faculty for IT and Design. In addition, the project involves close collaboration with the Department of Architecture, Design, and Media Technology and involves one other PhD candidate and a postdoctoral researcher. The candidate’s workplace will be in Aalborg.As part of this project, you will investigate the impact of generative AI on creative processes and design novel ways of integrating GenAI in professional design software. You will join the Human Augmentation and Collaboration research group, an active and supportive research group focused on designing and evaluating interactive systems that extend human capabilities in digital environments.Your work tasksThe PhD candidate will study the needs of creatives in integrating AI decision support during design ideation.
