External Lecturer – “AI and the Future of Clinical Care” – DIS Copenhagen

DIS is currently hiring 1 external faculty to teach or co-teach the elective course AI and the Future of Clinical Care to highly motivated undergraduate students from North American universities who are spending a semester studying in Copenhagen. The teaching position is for the fall semester of 2027, which will begin in August. This will be the first time this course runs. The course meets at DIS Copenhagen, twice weekly. The exact meeting times would be decided in the contract process.Course description: This course explores the transformative role of artificial intelligence in healthcare. You will examine current and emerging applications of AI tools in research, diagnostic and treatment processes to improve patient care. The course also investigates AI’s administrative potential to reduce provider burdens related to paperwork and patient record management. In addition, you will critically engage with the ethical implications of AI adoption, including issues of privacy, data security, and patient safety.
