We are looking for three highly motivated and dynamic assistant professors who can lead molecular imaging projects as part of a 3-year position to commence between November 2026 and February 2027. Our research Cluster for Molecular Imaging was established in 2004 by Professor Andreas Kjær to pursue translational molecular imaging research. The research is driven by unmet medical needs and includes all steps from molecule identification to evaluation in patients with a strong focus on the transfer of new methods into clinical practice. The research covers several disease areas including oncology, immune-oncology, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory diseases. The group has so far translated 5 PET tracers into the clinic. Cluster for Molecular Imaging has access to all necessary facilities for molecular imaging, including preclinical and clinical imaging facilities, cyclotrons, and radiochemistry as well as laboratories for molecular biology, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and a cell laboratory.
