Offering an established interdisciplinary social science environment, the Department of Social Sciences and Business at Roskilde University, invites applications for a position as assistant professor in Business Studies in the field of corporate finance or financial accounting with strong data analytical skills. The position is available from January 1, 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is limited to 4 years. The business context of today is complex and in constant flux creating challenges and dilemmas for how companies behave and interact in and with society. Flux and complexity also characterize the availability and use of data science in still more sophisticated ways. Our department looks to develop its research and teaching in the field of business and data analytics with a focus on corporate finance or financial accounting with strong data analytical skills of relevance predominantly for small and medium-sized companies (SMEs).
