Data Center Facilities Technician, Mechanical II
Opportunity summary
Minimum qualifications: Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in troubleshooting mechanical, cooling, and commercial HVAC systems. Ability to perform material handling (lifting/shifting), work on platforms and ladders, and access tight spaces (such as under raised floors). Ability to work non-standard hours, including rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays to support 24x7 operations. Preferred qualifications: Current F-Gas Certification and a full driving license. Experience in the planning and execution of equipment installation, commissioning, and adherence to manufacturer protocols. Experience in the operation and maintenance of mission-critical facilities such as data centers, hospitals, power plants, and HV electrical substations. Experience with electrical, mechanical, and control systems, including HVAC (e.g., cooling towers, chillers), power distribution (e.g., generators, UPS, ATS/STS), and monitoring (e.g., PDU/PMM units).
