PhD scholarship in Delay-adaptive Model Predictive Control - DTU Compute
Opportunity summary
Are you interested in combining learning and control to develop delay-adaptive control algorithms? In this fully funded PhD project, you will work at the intersection of model predictive control, adaptive modelling, and advanced dynamical systems and contribute to the rapidly changing landscape of adaptive control. At the same time, you will also help develop advanced control algorithms for safe operation of next-generation molten salt nuclear reactors under abnormal and critical conditions. You will conduct your research in the section for Dynamical Systems at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science under the supervision of Associate Professor Tobias K. S. Ritschel in collaboration with leading researchers from KAIST in South Korea, where you will also spend 3-6 months of the project.
