About the role We are looking for a support worker for an 11-year-old girl diagnosed with childhood autism and a moderate intellectual disability. She does not have verbal language skills and does not understand Danish, but she can understand short messages in English. She thrives in calm surroundings with predictability and clear boundaries. She enjoys being outdoors, going for walks and being around water, and she takes pleasure in music and physical closeness. At the same time, noise and large groups of people can affect her, and she needs an adult who can read her signals and help her withdraw in time. Your role is to create calm and meaningful moments with the girl and provide respite for the family.
