All positionsFull-time position · On-site in Copenhagen Lead Data Engineer Take our flagship data model of the Danish business economy from research prototype to production, and build the next generations of it. For the right person, this position offers a route to the CTO role and equity-based compensation. Venture Insights is a data-as-a-service company in Copenhagen. We collect public administrative data and other sources, and build one consistent model that explains every part of the Danish private economy. The model identifies startups and scaleups, founder teams, investors, investment rounds and acquisitions, and it tracks the outcomes. Our technology builds on a unique model of the business economy developed in university research. Where international platforms assemble announced deals and estimates, and data vendors resell what the registers already state, our model orchestrates complex data across every network relationship and across time, so that ownership, capital and control are resolved exactly, for the whole population and at any point in its history. On that model we build data products for the major institutions and capital allocators: pension funds, foundations, venture and private equity funds, commercial banks, public authorities and ecosystem organisations.
