PhD fellowships in Chemical Biology at the Department of Drug Design and PharmacologyWe are offering 1–2 PhD fellowships in chemical biology commencing 1 November 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. Our group and research The Kofoed Lab investigates therapeutically relevant protein–protein interactions involved in cell–cell communication. To study the molecular mechanisms through which these interactions function, we develop state-of-the-art molecular tools with context-dependent activities. This approach enables us to investigate complex biological systems with a high degree of spatial and molecular precision. We are a young, international, and collaborative team that emphasizes scientific curiosity and creativity, while valuing an open exchange of ideas. We work according to the principles of the Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF) and support the University of Copenhagen’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
