Employment type: FULLTIME. 3Shape are creating a new role in R&D for an experienced Wi-Fi specialist to help ensure reliable, high-performance wireless connectivity for our scanner systems. You will work in R&D and work closely with colleagues across R&D, Customer Care, IT, Production, and Wi-Fi hardware vendors. In doing so, you will turn user and Wi-Fi requirements into stable, validated setups that work in real customer environments. This new role focuses on Wi-Fi performance, stability, troubleshooting, verification, validation in both internal development test environments and at customers. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be part of defining the optimal Wi-Fi and connectivity setup for 3Shape systems. By doing so, you will get to experiment and prove through verification and validation, the robustness of the selected setup(s) and its configuration. In essence, you will be driving more reliable scanner connectivity and reducing customer support issues by making initial scanner setup easy and Wi‑Fi configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting simpler, faster, and more effective for all users.
