Our research Cluster for Molecular Imaging was established in 2004 by Professor Andreas Kjær to pursue translational molecular imaging research. The research is driven by unmet medical needs and includes all steps from molecule identification to evaluation in patients with a strong focus on the transfer of new methods into clinical practice. The research covers several disease areas including oncology, immune-oncology, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory diseases. The group has so far translated 5 PET tracers into the clinic.
