Opportunity summary

Role Purpose The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data solutions on Microsoft Fabric, ensuring that data is structured, reliable and usable across the organization. In this role, you will engage closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable data models, data pipelines and reporting solutions. You will take ownership of ensuring that financial and operational data is correctly modelled and supports consistent, highquality reporting. The position requires a strong combination of technical data engineering skills and business understanding. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the data foundation that supports reporting, analytics and future automation of business processes. You will also play a key role in the ongoing development of MCI’s hybrid data platform across Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, ensuring alignment, performance and best practices in data architecture.
