About the role We are seeking a Senior Networking Engineer with deep expertise in data-center networking, routing, and high-throughput packet delivery to join our Operations team in Copenhagen, working side by side with our SRE team. This role involves owning the network fabric that underpins our backup infrastructure. From the physical and virtual topology inside our data centers to the edge and connectivity that carries billions of objects over foreign APIs and imperfect networks. You will define how traffic flows, how it stays reliable under load, and how it stays secure end to end. Technical ownership, a systematic approach to reliability, and strong initiative are essential for this role. You will: Own and evolve our network architecture — data-center fabric, routing (BGP/OSPF), and segmentation. Design and operate load balancing, ingress, and traffic-management for a platform moving data at scale Define and enforce network reliability standards, runbooks, and change-management practices Build network automation and observability — treat the network as code, with visibility into every hop Manage VPN connectivity for management purposes to remote regions.
